he Foundation's capital is used to award non-renewable scholarships to young academics(who have graduated less than five years before submitting their application) to undertake or continue further training.

These grants will be used to :
- subsidize the costs inherent in research work carried out by young researchers, aged less than 35 years of age, (having graduated less than five years before submitting the application), in laboratories or departments of the Université de Liège (Master's degree or Doctorate);
- award travel grants to young academics, under the age of under 35 (ULiège graduates less than five years old at the time of application)to undertake further studies or an internship abroad (Master of Specialization or Doctorate).
The year in which the 1stst 2ndth cycle diploma to determine whether or not the 5-year time limit has been exceeded.
Several scholarships of 4,000 Euros (full scholarships), 2,000 Euros or 1,000 Euros (partial scholarships) may be awarded each year.
All fields of study are eligible.
The Committee is free to decide that the quality of the projects presented does not justify the award of a scholarship.
- a covering letter ;
- a detailed curriculum vitae, including degrees obtained during previous studies, and a list of publications or presentations at scientific meetings;
- precise plans for further studies, their current status and any steps taken (name of host university and program of study);
- the financial requirements for carrying out the planned studies or research work, and any grants obtained elsewhere;
- at least one letter of agreement from a professor (from the University of Liège or a foreign institution), under whose supervision the studies will be carried out;
- at least two letters of recommendation from two other professors who have taught during previous studies.
