HEC Liège-‐Management School of the University of Liège has just obtained the renewal of its EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation following an audit that mobilized all the school's lifeblood

The EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), which evaluates business schools according to the highest international quality standards, thus confirms the progress made by HEC Liège towards a common objective of excellence, and reinforces the solidity of the School's strategy in terms of education, research and community services, both nationally and internationally.

This progress, since the first accreditation obtained in 2016, is clearly expressed in the auditors' report: HEC rates up to or above quality standards in all the criteria of the 9 areas analyzed: governance and strategy; programmes, students; Faculty; research and development; Executive Education; resources and administration; internationalization; ethics, CSR and sustainable development.

LThe EQUIS re-accreditation, alongside the AACSB label obtained in 2018, reinforces HEC Liège's visibility in the European and global university education sphere. Indeed, only 0.67% Business Schools worldwide hold this double accreditation. HEC Liège is proud to be part of a qualitative network and to become even more attractive to international students. The School currently has 35% international students representing 75 different nationalities.

For all our students and graduates (14,500 Alumni/ae), the EQUIS and AACSB quality labels guarantee the academic and pedagogical level delivered and a significant added value of their degree in the professional and international world

Wilfried NIESSEN, General Director and Dean of HEC Liège :
« This success is the fruit of intensive collective work in all areas of education, research, governance, relations with students, alumni/ae, international partners and companies. My thanks go to all the members of HEC Liège and the University of Liège. Everyone has invested themselves with determination to demonstrate the ability of our School to progress and the quality of the work provided. For me, as General Director and Dean, and for all stakeholders who have worked in this direction, this recognition is a source of satisfaction and motivation. We will continue along this path and, in 2022, show EQUIS, not only our progress but also our ability to maintain a high level of excellence in all areas. From now on, this is what we will all be striving for. ».
