Students • Service Learning
Service Learning enables you to give meaning to your current learning and helps you focus your search for a job in line with your values. You'll be encouraged to think about your commitment to society, both now and in the future.
Service Learning differs from a traditional internship in that it responds to a demand from society. Unlike volunteering, however, it integrates a reflective dimension with academic learning, the aim being to collaborate with an association, not to serve it.
Why take a Service Learning course ?
- Put theoretical and practical knowledge into practice in a real-life context
- Develop critical thinking and creativity by tackling concrete problems
- Develop self-esteem, a sense of responsibility and the ability to work as part of a team
- Accept social diversity and eliminate stereotypes
- Develop project management skills
- Expand your network of contacts: possibility of employment or self-employment.
