Student Carers
ULiège supports students who provide continuous or regular assistance and support to any person recognised as being in a situation of high dependency (due to disability, illness, accident, etc.).

Who is it for?
ULiège Student Carer status can be granted to any regularly enrolled student at the university who submits a complete application and meets the following criteria:
- Provides continuous or regular assistance and support to any person recognized as being in a situation of severe dependency
- Has obtained official recognition as a caregiver from a health insurance fund (mutuelle)
What are the benefits?
Personalized support
- Supervision by an academic advisor to help navigate faculty-related procedures
- Assistance from the administrative coordination team responsible for Student Carer status
Study accommodation
- Possibility to lighten the academic year until October 31
- Specific arrangements for teaching activities, assessments and exams
- Priority access to the Study Guidance Service and the University Orientation Service
Logistical advantages
- Priority access to psychological support from Student Affairs psychologists
- 20 free sessions of psychological counselling at Clinique Psychologique et Logopédique Universitaire (CPLU)
