Special case of students at the end of the bachelor cycle[1]

At the end of this academic year, you are at the end of the bachelor cycle[2], with a balance of maximum 15 credits[3] remaining to be acquired, and you wish to add to your annual programme some Master's courses (so-called "BAMA15" student). You must take two registrations: a Bachelor registration AND an "administrative" Master registration.

Your annual programme will be composed of the teaching units not yet acquired from the bachelor's degree and the corresponding Master's degree teaching units, while respecting the possible prerequisites. Your annual programme will be validated by each of the juries for what concerns it, and may not exceed 60 credits.

As long as you have not obtained your bachelor's degree, you will not be able to include in your annual programme the 2nd cycle credits corresponding to your thesis or TFE[4].

You pay the bachelor's registration fee, no fee is charged for your master's registration ("administrative" registration).

[1] Cf. art. 35 of the study regulations and art. 100, §3 of the Landscape decree.
[2] Student at the end of the cycle = student who has registered in his annual programme all the missing credits to graduate (art.15 of the Landscape decree).
[3] If your bachelor's degree cycle included more than 180 credits, you can only have a maximum of 15 credits left (e.g.: 170/185).
[4] With the exception of 60-credit Master degrees.

Registration procedures

1. You were registered as a bachelor at ULiège and wish to continue your Master's course at ULiège

You can re-register for the corresponding Master's degree via your myULiège portal.
Registration as a bachelor will be registered automatically.

2. You were registered as a bachelor at ULiège and wish to complete your bachelor's degree at ULiège but continue your master's degree at another institution

You can use the myULiège portal to re-register as a bachelor.

→ You will have to pay the registration fees at Uliège (bachelor's degree) and will be exempted from the registration fees at the other institution (administrative registration for a master's degree). For your enrolment in a Master's programme, you must comply with the enrolment procedure of the institution of your choice.

3. You were registered as a bachelor in another institution and wish to complete your bachelor's degree there and continue your Master's course at ULiège

You must first re-register as a bachelor at your original institution.

In addition to the documents required for your registration* for a Master's degree at ULiège, you must also bring your last transcript of marks clearly indicating the credits acquired in the first cycle (and/or the credits remaining to be acquired in the first cycle) and the certificate of registration as a bachelor at your home institution.

→ You will be required to pay the registration fees at your home institution (bachelor's degree) and will be exempted from the registration fees at the Uliège (administrative registration for a master's degree).

*Depending on your personal situation, you will have to produce a set of documents when you register.
