iconeAttention The ULiège Student Entrepreneur status is not to be confused with the Independent Student Status granted by the Federal Public Service. 

These are two distinct statuses:

  • The Student Entrepreneur status offers academic accommodations and university-level support
  • The Independent Student status provides fiscal and social security advantages

Who is it for?

The ULiège Student Entrepreneur status may be granted to any regularly enrolled student who submits a complete application and meets one of the following criteria:

  • Has a business start-up project
  • Is in the start-up phase of a business
  • Is already the founder or director of a business

What are the benefits?

Personalized support

  • Supervision by an academic tutor to help navigate faculty-related procedures
  • Support from the status administrative coordination team

  • Promotion of the entrepreneurial project through ULiège's communication and promotional activities

  • Access to the facilities of ULiège’s student incubator VenturLab and special support for project development
