Applications for a Wallonia-Brussels Federation study grant can be submitted from 6 July to 31 October 2021.

I apply for a study grant

The study grant of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, more commonly known as "scholarship (FWB)", is a financial aid allowing a regular student beneficiary to cover, in part, their expenses for a year of studies.

Scholarship status

The granting of the scholarship is determined by several criteria that you can consult on the website of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The application for a scholarship must be renewed each year with the Direction des Allocations et Prêts d'Études (DAPE).

The scholarship organization imposes the obligation to present a complete exam session.

The attribution of a scholarship by the Direction des Allocations et Prêts d'Études (DAPE) of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (FWB) gives you the status of scholarship holder. This status is obtained for one academic year only.

The scholarship status grants :

1. an exemption from registration fees: the registration fees are taken care of by the Wallonia Brussels Federation, so you don't have to pay anything. ULiège is automatically informed of the positive decision of the DAPE, you don't have to take any steps with ULiège.

Once the Brousier rate is confirmed, your registration fee is definitively set at 0€.

2. A financial aid for course materials: any student with a scholarship in the 1st and 2nd cycles who applies for it can benefit from free course materials related to his curriculum.
