Educational leave
The system of paid educational leave enables workers to receive paid leave for training courses taken during or outside working hours. This leave is paid for by the employer, who can then claim reimbursement from the FPS Employment, Labor and Social Dialogue.
Courses must be held in the evening and at weekends.
Courses usually held in the evening or at weekends, and whose organization provides for them to be held during the day no more than once a week, can be attended by working students if their plan includes night or weekend services.
In practice:
The procedure for obtaining paid educational leave requires students to provide their employer with a certificate of attendance.
To receive this certificate, students must:
- If enrolled in AESS (only):
- Notify the Enrolment and Admissions Department
- Have them sign an attendance sheet by your teachers
- Send this form, duly completed, to the Enrolments Department at the end of each term
- If you are registering for any other course: contact the faculty organizing the course.
