The QVE service is a confidential listening point for any personal problem or when a student feels that a situation within the institution is unacceptable.

At one time or another, we all go through critical periods and painful events. If personal difficulties are disrupting your life as a student, and you would like to talk about them in complete confidentiality, the psychologists in the Student Quality of Life Service are available to listen to you for the first time, and to review your situation with you. They can provide you with occasional support and, if necessary, refer you to a therapeutic service.

You can also contact the service discreetly if you feel you are experiencing a difficult situation within the institution, such as indelicacy, discrimination, harassment... from a fellow student or a member of staff. Even if such behavior is rare, it can unfortunately occur or be perceived (rightly or wrongly) as unacceptable. It's best to talk things over before letting any disagreements or misunderstandings fester! To react appropriately, it's important to calmly consider the various possible solutions together.

Don't forget that discriminatory and harassing behaviour is unacceptable at ULiège and is punishable by law, as it is at within our university.
