Appeals against the Faculty

This refers ONLY to appeals against decisions concerning examinations, deliberations or the organization of the academic year.

Only legal or regulatory irregularities may be the subject of an appeal.

For example:
Non-compliance with faculty and/or deliberation rules, changes to examination procedures of which students were not notified in good time, unjustified discrimination between students...

Material errors may also be the subject of an appeal.
It may indeed happen - although this remains exceptional - that an error is made in the calculation/transcription of an exam mark or that data is incorrectly encoded. Students usually become aware of such errors as soon as they consult their papers, and they are usually corrected as soon as the teacher is aware of them.

If the error is discovered after the jury has deliberated, it will be re-determined by the jury.

Except in the case of irregularities, no appeal may be lodged against the marks awarded by teachers for an examination, dissertation, assignment or internship, or against jury decisions.
