- Fee for the Advanced Master, member of staff or researcher hosted by the ULiège or volunteer assistant: €0 (on presentation of ad hoc certificate)
[1] 3 or more brothers and/or sisters living under the same roof and enrolled at ULiège at the same time: €585 (provide a recent household composition clearly specifying the family relationship - applications to be submitted for the current academic year only - no retroactive effect).
[2] Grant awarded by the Study Grants Service of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation or by the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid.
Additional tuition fees for students from outside the European Union (from 2025-2026)
Pursuant to article 105, 3bis of the decree of 7 November 2013 defining the higher education landscape and the academic organisation of studies, non-assimilated students from outside the European Union are required to pay an additional annual contribution of 4,175 euros to be added to the registration fees mentioned above (i.e. for a full fee: 4,175 euros + 835 euros = 5,010 euros).
Exemptions
The following are exempt from the additional contribution but must pay registration fees:
► Assimilated students from outside the European Union
► Non-assimilated students from outside the European Union:
whose nationality is listed in appendices 1, 2 and 3 of this ARES circular
OR
who meet one of the following conditions:
1. Hold an upper secondary education certificate issued by a full secondary education establishement or a social promotion establishment in the French Community after at least two years of study in an establishment of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation;
2. Be the beneficiary of a grant issued by Wallonie-Bruxelles International;
3. Be enrolled in a postgraduate study programme;
4. Be enrolled in an AESS study programme or any Master's programme in teaching (section 5) that replaces it.
Transitional period
Students who paid the increased tuition fees in 2024-2025 and who, without having interrupted their studies, re-enrol in the same undergraduate or postgraduate course, are exempt from the additional contribution while remaining liable for the increased fees up to and including the academic year 2026-2027 (undergraduates) or 2025-2026 (postgraduates).
The increased tuition fees payable by these students are set by the ARES circular applied to them when they first enrolled in this course.
